Oh man, how does time flies. No seriously, it’s half way through May already but April seem to just dragged on for a bit. Soon it will be June and the halfway point of the year…. And I still have yet to get a commission job or even started movie making… oh well, people always complain of not doing more, some even starting full gear without any real idea what they’re doing… something I am also known to do….
Nothing much to update on from last month… except I’ve gotten an extra bunch of work hours recently in spite of the season.
Saw the Avengers Age of Ultron. It was great fun movie, though not as good as the first. I do wonder if the Superman/Batman movie will be any good, let alone if they’re going to make Wonder Woman a decent character in it…
Not really looking forward to most of the other summer movies this year, as most of them are either remakes or necessary sequels to past movies. That’s not to say they’re not going to be anygood based on that fact alone, as I heard Mad Max is rather decent from general tumblr posts. The New Terminator does seem interesting, though the timeline of the franchise is going to be rather skewed like with the Android/Cell saga from DBZ… and I was curious to see how the war in the future would play out. But the 2 movies I have doubts are Poltergeist and Jurassic World. Not too familiar with Poltergeist, but it is a remake horror movie rated P-13 while making “nods” to the original like have the characters say famous lines from the original only to be cut off short. Jurassic World’s big build is a fan-made dino that is bigger and bader than the t-rex and more cunning and smart than a raptor… yeah… people got mad how the T-Rex was taken down by another dino in the 3rd film, unless they play the cards right in this one, this won’t go well….
Well… like I said, nothing else for me to say this month… Oh, I was a rebel spy on the Star Wars Star Tours ride earlier this month, got my radio replaced. Rediscovered “The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo” on Amazon Instant Video…
Here’s hoping for things to turn better in the future… get a lot more drawing and writing done this month and hopefully another big comic commission later on in the year… which reminds me.
